Helmholt Elektronik A/S is a well known Danish distributor of electronics for the industry and retail in Danmark, Norway, Sweden, Greenland and the Farao Islands. We distribute a wide range of electronics articles. More than 30.000 article numbers within components, tools, instruments, cables, batteries, light sources, and a variety of consumer electronics goods.

The company was founded in 1975, as an electronics shop, but soon after in 1980 the distribution activity started up. In 2005 Helmholt Elektronik A/S established the still growing retail chain, ELEXTRA.dk, which today consist of 2 electronics shops (in Struer and Copenhagen), and ofcourse the online shop at www.elextra.dk.

Making sales happen. Having a well established distribution network, and strong relationships with more than 2000 dealers, electrical installers and OEM customers, is the foundation of our business. This sales platform - in addition to our own shops - enables us to promise rapid and significant sales results on new product introductions. In return we expect that our suppliers can offer data integration in order for us to effectively manage and maintain products, prices and stock information.

Partnerships. Our company is based on strong and long term supplier relationships. We invest the time and resources necessary, in order to make our selves and our distribution channel well aquainted with new products. This enables us to offer superior product support. Something which has given our company a strong reputation. Helmholt Elektronik A/S is ongoingly interested in new partnerships with suppliers who can offer a range of reliable and competitive goods within the fields of electronics, computer and electrical appliances.

Business performance. For the 15th year in row, Helmholt Elektronik A/S, finished 2022 with a positive business result (ref. www.proff.dk). Our ability to achieve positive bottom line results, and growth, while facing increasing global competition, gives us promising expectations for the future. A very high focus on the development of our IT systems (within purchase, logistics and sales) does and will contribute to an ongoingly improved business efficiency.
