Important information regarding use and installation:
LI>If it is expected that the socket for charging will be loaded with more than 6A for more than 2 hours, the socket must be designed for long-term high load. A separate group should be installed, as a group intended for appliances with low current consumption over time cannot be used according to §56, subsection 4 of the Danish installation decree.
LI>If a dedicated electric vehicle charging socket is installed, the socket must have its own residual current device (RCD) and this must be at least type A with a rated tripping current not exceeding 30mA. Sockets according to DS 60884-2-D1 or EN 60309-1/-2 can typically be used.
- According to the standard HD 60364-7-722, removable sockets are not permitted, which means that no extension cords may be used between the electric car and the socket from which charging takes place.
