MKP-13 capacitors made of metallized polypropylene film are dedicated to audio equipment. The design of the capacitors minimizes the parasitic components of impedance - inductance and resistance, resulting in an improvement in the sound quality of a given audio system. The capacitors use a self-regenerating dielectric - self-repairing during operation, impregnation of the condenser coil with oil, axially placed leads made of tinned copper wire, a shield in the form of a special tape and a non-flammable sealing compound of VO class.
MKP-13 capacitors can operate in electrical circuits of direct and alternating voltage within the temperature range covered by the climatic category. The value of the direct voltage or the amplitude of the alternating voltage should not exceed the Ur value.
